Compliance! Where do you start? Ever wish Title I Parent & Family Engagement compliance documentation was easier to manage and monitor? This two-day event will provide parent and family engagement staff, federal and state grant administrators, leaders, directors, parent/family liaisons, coordinators, principals, counselors, and community engagement staff with the tools and knowledge excel their role with compliance success. This two day training starts with learning about all of the Title I parent and family engagement (PFE) compliance requirements. In Day 2, attendees will extend their learning of PFE compliance with engaging, interactive, practical, and hands-on activities to apply and develop a model approach designed for success throughout the school year.

This exciting and innovative training will guide attendees to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of how to manage, implement, and effectively monitor Title I parent and family engagement program compliance documentation for each of the following Title I requirements: Comprehensive Needs Assessment, Schoolwide Plan (D/CIP), Parents' Right to Know, Federal School Report Card, Annual Title I Meeting, School/Parent Compact, School/Parent Compact during Parent/Teacher Conferences, Parent & Family Engagement Policy, Value & Utility of Working with Parents-Staff Training, and Title I Program Evaluation. Additional Title I fiscal topics include: time and effort reporting, allowable/unallowable uses of funds, timeline, checklists, sample job descriptions and work schedules, home visits, Title I and parent meetings, and how to recruit and retain parents and community members for your school/district Comprehensive Needs Assessment and Schoolwide/District/Campus Improvement Plan meetings. Compliance! Where do you start? Ever wish SCE compliance documentation was easier to manage and monitor? This one-day event will provide federal and state grant administrators, leaders, directors, At-Risk directors/coordinators, SCE directors/coordinators, PEIMS staff, and business managers with the tools and knowledge to close out the 2022-2023 school year with SCE compliance success. Participants will learn how to implement, manage, and monitor the SCE program from the start to the end of the school year with an SCE roadmap that will provide useful tools, templates, forms, and checklists to ensure the success of your SCE program.

November 9th-State Compensatory Education Compliance Academy. This will include training on how to understand, manage, and effectively monitor the State Compensatory Education compliance documentation for each of the following requirements: 15 At-Risk Criterion, student eligibility and identification, sample entrance and exit procedures, required documentation for student eligibility, Texas Education Code, SCE Comprehensive Needs Assessment and District/Campus Improvement Plan, decision-making committee, SCE staff roles and responsibilities, allowable and unallowable uses of SCE funds, building and monitoring the SCE budget to meet the 55% expenditure requirement, SCE program evaluation, public hearing, supplement not supplant, tracking and monitoring SCE implementation and performance, SCE reporting requirements, Class-size reduction, developing master schedule for SCE positions, PEIMS codes for at-risk students and SCE budget, SCE funded job descriptions, Time and Effort reporting, and how to conduct SCE monitoring reviews.
